วันมาฆบูชา วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๒๕ กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ.๒๕๖๗

ขอเชิญพุทธศาสนิกชนทั้งหลายร่วมทำบุญ วันมาฆบูชา วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๒๕ กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ.๒๕๖๗

มาฆบูชา ตรงกับวันเพ็ญเดือน ๓(ตรงกับวันขึ้น ๑๕ ค่ำ เดือน ๓ หรือขึ้น ๑๕ ค่ำ เดือน ๔ ในปีอธิกมาส) เป็นวันสำคัญทางพระพุทธศาสนาวันหนึ่ง คือ เป็นวันที่พระพุทธองค์ทรงแสดงโอวาทปาฎิโมกข์ วางหลักคำสอนสำคัญอันเป็นหัวใจของพระพุทธศาสนา คือ ละชั่ว ทำดี ทำจิตใจให้ผ่องใส แก่พระสงฆ์ จำนวน ๑,๒๕๐ รูป ที่มาประชุมพร้อมกันโดยมิได้นัดหมาย ในวันขึ้น ๑๕ ค่ำ เดือน ๓ ณ เวฬุวันมหาวิหาร เมืองราชคฤห์ จากวันนั้นเป็นต้นมาพระสงฆ์สาวกได้นำคำสอนของพระพุทธองค์ ออกไปประกาศเผยแผ่จนเป็นที่ยอมรับนับถือของประชาชนทั่วไป ทำให้พระพุทธศาสนาเจริญรุ่งเรืองมาโดยลำดับ

ดังนั้น วัดป่าสันติธรรม จึงจัดให้มีพิธีทำบุญ เนื่องใน “วันมาฆบูชา” เพื่อให้พุทธศาสนิกชนทั้งหลาย ร่วมรำลึกถึงวันสำคัญและได้มีโอกาสทำบุญกุศลเป็นกรณีพิเศษ โดยมีกำหนดการดังนี้

เวลา 6:00 pm. ทำวัตรเย็น สวดมนต์ เจริญสมาธิภาวนา ฟังบรรยายธรรม

วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๒๖๕ กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ.๒๕๖๗

เวลา 6:00 am. ทำวัตรเช้า สวดมนต์ เจริญสมาธิภาวนา
เวลา 9:59 am. พุทธศาสนิกชนพร้อมกัน ณ ธรรมศาลา
เวลา 10:00 am. ไหว้พระสวดมนต์ สมาทานเบญจศีล พระสงฆ์เจริญพระพุทธมนต์
เวลา 10:45 am. พระสงฆ์ออกรับบิณฑบาต
เวลา 11:00 am. ถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่พระสงฆ์
เวลา 11:30 am. สาธุชนร่วมกันรับประทานอาหาร
เวลา 12:45 pm. ฟังธรรมเทศนา ๑ กัณฑ์
พิธีทอดผ้าป่า ๑,๒๕๐ กอง, กล่าวคำถวายดอกไม้ ธูป เทียน
พระสงฆ์อนุโมทนา รับพร กรวดน้ำ, เวียนเทียน
เป็นเสร็จพิธี.

Magha Puja Day

At Wat Pasantidhamma, VAMagha Puja Day falls on the full moon of the third lunar month, somewhere toward the end of February. Magha is the name of a month in the lunar calendar used in ancient India. The word “Puja” means to worship. So, Magha Puja means the worship in the month of Magha.
The Magha Puja Day is also known as the day of the Four fold Assembly. This was a special assembly that took place at the Bamboo Grove (Veluvana) and contained four extraordinary features namely:

1. It was the full moon day of the month of Magha.
2. 1,250 monk disciples assembled to see the Buddha, all by themselves, without an appointment.
3. All these monks were Arahants who had attained the six-fold super knowledge.
4. All of them were the Buddha’s direct disciples having been ordained by the Lord himself.

At the four hold assembly, the Buddha gave the monks an important discourse summarizing his teachings into three main principles, namely: (1) not to do any evil (2) to do good, and (3) to purify the mind.

Wat Pasantidhamma provides the opportunity for you to come and join the ceremony as a part of the annual celebration for the cultivation of meritorious deeds.
