The Vipassana Meditation Retreat
February 3-5, 2023

The program will start at 3.00 p.m. on February 1, 2022. Please arrive at the temple by 2.00 p.m. The program will include Buddha’s teachings; group instructions for sitting, standing, and walking meditation; and individual interviews with instructions. Please wear loose comfortable clothes, preferably white to honor Buddhist tradition. Bring a meditation cushion or any cushion. For those who want to stay overnight, please bring a sleeping bag and a flashlight. If you prefer to stay outside, you may bring a tent. Breakfast and lunches are provided. Undertaking the eight precepts and no solid meal after 12.00 noon. However; milk, juice, tea, and water will be provided all day.

February 3, 2023
2.00 p.m. Arrive at the temple
3.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m. Registration
5.00 p.m. Take eight precepts and introduction to meditation practices.
6.00 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. Evening chanting in Pali language, introduction to the mindfulness meditation by Phrakru Palad Veeranon, Meditation Master.
February 4, 2023
3.30 a.m. Wake up call.
4.00 – 6.30 a.m. Morning chanting in Pali language, mindfulness meditation (sitting, walking, standing)
6.30 a.m. Breakfast with mindfulness.
8.00 – 10.30 a.m. Dhamma talk and mindfulness practice.
10.30 a.m. Offer food to monks and lunch.
1.00 – 4.00 p.m. Mindfulness practice with moving, sitting, walking, standing, and Dhamma talk.
4.00 p.m. Free time.
5.00 – 8.00 p.m. Evening chanting in Pali, mindfulness practice
8.00 – 9.30 p.m. Dhamma Talk by Meditation Master.
* Remark: no morning and evening chanting, except mindfulness practice; Dhamma talk, questions and answers will be until 8.00 p.m.
