It ends after the three-months-period of seclusion and study during Rain Retreat which monks have remained in one place. On the last day of the retreat\, monks will take time to discuss\, counsel\, advise\, as well as apologize and forgive among themselves. With the restriction on travel lifted\, monks are free to travel to other temples and even to their home temples in Thailand. \nThis is also a day of joyful celebration and merit-making. For many families in Thailand\, it is also the day they welcome their son back home after three months of serving as a monk and celebrating his successful completion of a term in the temple. \nWat Pasantidhamma provides the opportunity for you and your family to join us in the ceremony on Sunday\, October 25\, 2026. :- \nProgram \nSaturday October 24\, 2026\n6:00 p.m. Evening chanting by the monks and congregation Spread loving kindness and compassion \nSunday\, October 25\, 2026\n6:00 a.m. Morning chanting by the monks and congregation\n9:59 a.m. Together at Dhamma Sala.\n10:00 a.m. Group chanting\, taking the precepts\, and the monks chant the Sutras.\n10:30 a.m. Alms offering to monks.\n11:00 a.m. Pindapata dana offering to the monks.\n11:30 a.m. Lunch for the congregation.\n12:45 p.m. Religious ceremony Sermon in Thai and blessing in Pali by the Abbot.
